Lessons and workshops are suitable for different levels of sewing skills and fashion design or costume history knowledge: from beginner to advanced.
They can be both practical and theoretical or exclusively theoretical: the former are held at Elaine’s Couture studio, the latter instead are also available via video call.
Practical/sewing classes and workshops are exclusively one-to-one.
Weekly classes available from January to June and from September to December:
- Historical patternmaking and tailoring (XV - XVIII century)
- Modern patternmaking and tailoring beginners / advanced
- Fashion design / costume design
- Tutoring for academic or university exams about fashion and/or costume design
Weekly classes are scheduled and personalized lessons based on your level of knowledge of the subject, diverse training needs or your passions, as well as the objective you intend to achieve.
Workshops 2026:
-1770's underpinnings: false rump e petticoat 26 - 27 September
-1600/1630 stays: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 October
Each workshop is a one to one class and will take place at Elaine's Couture studio.
