Fashion and costume design
The course consists of theoretical lessons and practical exercises, aimed at creating a collection or stage costumes.
The classes are one-on-one personalized lessons based on your level of knowledge of the subject, diverse training needs or your passions, as well as the objective you intend to achieve.
In these classes we will cover topics such as research aspects necessary for design, history of fashion and costume, the study of textiles, creation and development of sketches and technical flat.

Since these are one-on-one classes, they are suitable also for beginners.
Classes are held at Elaine's Couture studio; in the case of exclusively theoretical lessons, they can be held online.
They are weekly and each lasts from 2 to 4 hours.
The classes must be booked at least 6 business days in advance and the attendant must specify his/hers/their skill/knowledge level towards the subject of interest (fashion or costume design); class dates must be agreed before purchasing the service.
The cost of the course is 25 euros per hour.
The price does not include materials or supplies for exercises, the necessary supplies for each class will be indicated based on the chosen course.

Tutoring for academic or university exams about fashion and/or costume design
Students of fashion/costume design Academies or Institutes can book these tutoring classes for midterms, final exams and degree theses.
The classes will be structured based on the needs of the student: from review lessons to the integration of skills and topics necessary for an exam or thesis, up to guiding and assisting you during the research and creation of the papers or project for your thesis (for lessons related only to patternmaking and sewing visit the dedicated page here).
Please note: these classes require an active role of the participant, the teacher will help each student, but will not replace them in the writing/making of the papers or garments. Each student must personally commit to achieving real learning/upgrading of their skills and preparing for their exam.
