The gown is made of linen and includes: one linen gown (consisting of a bodice and a skirt ), one linen shirt with 2 lace inserts along the arms (like in the pictures), and two linen aprons (one embroidered).
The bodice is reinforced with synthetic whalebones (not visible), lined with cotton or linen and has a spiral lacing on the front.
The skirt is closed on the sides and has a decoration made with a different fabric near the dress hem like shown in the pictures.
The shirt is pleated and decorated like in the picture: the lace will be as matching as possible to the color of the shirt fabric.
The aprons are made of linen and one is machine-embroidered on the front.
Eyelets can be
- hand sewn with linen or silk thread
- metal eyelet hand-covered with thread (this option has slightly larger eyelets)
Undergarments, veil and necklace are not included, but they can be requested: see the following “custom orders” section.
Please note: this type of dress requires at least the correct corset and petticoat to achieve the correct silhouette.

The mock up service is provided both for customers who can come by the studio for fittings and for customers living abroad.
Customers living abroad will receive the mock-up via courier: we will schedule a video call in which we are going to check the fitting and, once any changes have been established, the customer will send the prototipe back to Elaine's studio (please note: the cost of the mock-up shipment, return and custom fees are charged to the customer).
The cost of this additional service and shipping plus return costs will be defined in the estimate for the bespoke/custom made garment.
