This type of workshop is focused on the study and making of corsets and stays.
All the workshops are a one-to-one class held at the Elaine's Couture studio (please note: no video lessons / calls for these classes) ; the difficulty level of each workshop is indicated in the description.
Each workshop begins with a lecture about the necessary materials and/or techniques, and then moves on to the making of the garment / garments.
The participant will be assisted and guided through the study and process: from the pattern (drafted following historical samples and references), to each cutting and sewing step, up to the finishing touches.

For groups of students or academies/institutes/schools it's possible to organize the workshop in other labs or equipped workspaces: depending on the number of participants and the city in which it will take place, an estimate will be provided.
