1840's dressing gown, made to measure.

This robe can be ordered in different fabrics (silk taffeta/dupioni, wool cloth, summer-weight wool, linen/cotton, faux silk) and different colours.
The bodice is decorated with thin piping on the back and shoulders and the belt is decorated with a hand made tassel.
The dressing gown is lined with fabric made of natural fibers (usually cotton or linen) and is decorated with quilted velvet details on the cuffs, neck and center front.
The quilting can be machine made or hand made, padded or not, you can choose your favorite option while ordering your bespoke garment.
The robe is opened in the front and can be closed:
- simply with the belt (like in the picture)
- with hidden hooks plus a belt (the hooks will be placed from the neck to the waist line)
- with hidden buttons plus a belt (the buttons will be placed from the neck to the waist line)
- with buttons on the outside plus the decorative belt (in this case the buttons will go from the neck to the bottom of the gown).
As shown in the picture the robe has knife pleats (front) and cartridge pleats (back) around the waist.

Undergarments are not included, but they can be requested: see the following “custom orders” section.
Please note: the pin shown in the picture is not included and can't be ordered.

The dressing gown will be made in the color/colors of your choice, but being an historical costume, if you want to maintain the historical accuracy, I will recommend/suggest to avoid modern colours/patterns.
